Narcissists and Rape: The Psychology of a Rapist

Only people without empathy can rape, so we know who the rapists in our communities are.

They are people with NPD or ASPD. Narcissists or sociopaths.

These are the only disorders that have a total lack of empathy.

And what’s a component of Narcissistic Personality Disorder?

Victim blaming.

They have shame-avoidance, so all shame is redirected back onto victims.

The reason we have RAPE CULTURE is because we have a culture FULL OF NARCISSISTS; therefore, full of rapists.

From our pastors to our politicians to our police. Narcissists walk in all walks of life and all races and religions and political parties; they are vultures that cycle in all circles of both power and oppression.

They are products of generational trauma, of a traumatized species.

They are ghost children walking in bodies which haven’t died with them yet. They are in a land of fantasy pretending to be an important adult — the best and most important in the world.

THE GOLDEN CHILD FANTASY of their childhood, where their heart was so broken, it died.

But why don’t narcissist abuse recovery spaces talk much about this link?

It was confusing to me when I first started reading content: it was as if narcissistic abuse was always framed as follows:

  • Romantic
  • Consensual relationships
  • The victim’s fault for not being aware they were with a narcissist
  • The victim’s fault for their own childhood damage that caused trauma bonding
  • Comprised only of emotional abuse and chronic cheating

While those were all aspects of my experiences trauma bonding to narcissists, there were HUGE abuses readily left out that I witnessed and experienced, and not all of my narcissistic abuse was from romantic partnerships.
