Narcissists project: they cannot see outside of themselves. They have a fantasy self — of grandiosity, power, and perfection — and then who they really are they see as everybody else.

Even if they start a relationship idealizing someone, they soon begin projecting.

And once they project, then devaluation comes.

Then the cycle of abuse. It’s as trusty as an algorithm.

The narcissist sees only one person in the world as perfect and superior and all good — their fantasy self.

They see everyone else as what they are — predators.
