Narcissists are not afraid of losing you as supply, specifically. Supply is supply, and it can be easily replaced with other supply sources. There are always plenty of people with low self worth and traumatic childhoods for narcissists to choose from.
They’ve never been emotionally attached to you, or anyone.
They have backup supply and plenty of it. They have plenty of ways of attaining more supply too--all they need is the internet, a catfish account, and the ability to disassociate into states of delusion.
Even your most beloved covert narcissist, a pillar of the community, who you cannot imagine going to the extreme of hypocrisy, has backup supply.
When you discover their secret lives, the cognitive dissonance will make you feel brain damaged with shock.
